What a great film. Vincent Perez was fabulous as Diderot. I really liked this movie and would recommend it to anyone that is a fan of Vincent Perez and who also likes good French films.

I have watched Perez's performance in other films and find he is such a great actor. This film had great acting, great photography, witty dialogue and good casting. The costuming was also really good, with an accurate portrayal of what society would wear in that time period. I really don't want to give away any of the story line so I will stop now, but to all fans of Vincent Perez. Go and see this film. Another note, I also really liked the music used in the film, it portrayed the wittiness of the dialogue.

The owner is very pleasant and seems to make sure he talks to everyone in the restaurant. Fun venue with terrific servers. Great pre-theatre or concert. I've eaten here three times and never had bad service or bad food. The food, in fact, is incredible. This is our go-to restaurant after seeing the Philly Pops. But it would definitely be worth the trip even if it was a hike. Love the food, the wine selection, and the staff.

Fabulous brunch - best in Philadelphia. My first time eating at this restaurant. I am vegetarian and have a restricted diet as well. They were so accommodating, it made the meal l even better for me.

The food was delicious, everything was fresh and as described on the menu. Other people I dined with thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. I got the autumn roasted vegetables, which was delicious, not oily at all. My main entree was the ravioli and that was fabulous!

We also had dessert, I had the gelato-tasty and not too heavy. My friends had the S'mores, which they said was like a lava cake with marshmallow, plus the graham crackers brought it all together. Definitely will return. The crab spaghetti is so good. We also had lamb meatballs and French onion soup. All so delish and the servers were very attentive. My husband had a beer that comes with a shot - he said it was really good. I had a reservation for 2 and changed it to 3 when we got there.

Libertine celebrates the history of our city and its future. It embodies the grittiness of its denizens and the pride I have in my town.The food was excellent in a resonable quantity, we had lake fish and see fish and a main course, that we can both recommend. Staff and location very good too. This dinner would have been worth the trip even just for the dessert: the chestnut mousse with sharon fruit coulis and chocolate was faboulous. The presentation was playful and joyous, with a chocolate bucket and a chocolate cup containing the coulis.

But if a nice The chocolate was intense and of high quality, and the chestnut and fruit came through beautifully, with no excess of sweetness to mask them. The level of this dish was well above that of a regional cuisine "locanda" and was better than similar desserts had in fine dining restaurants.

Thw mousse was the star of an overall excellent dinner. We started with a very fine primo of chestnut gnocchi with a cheese cream, and a seasonal and tasty celeriac flan with a pumpkin cream. Then we treated ourselves to two of our favourite mains here: the creamed salt-cod baccala' with polenta, a regional classic; and the rabbit, also coming with polenta and finely chopped vegetables.

The cooking and stuffing of the rabbit is masterful, leaving it moist, tender and succulent. And the baccala' delivers in one go both strong flavour and delicacy.

Il Libertino, with its simple and traditional, but also personalised and very well crafted cuisine, is very good value for money thanks to its moderate prices yes, in Trento you can find cheaper, but far from the quality level here.

Service is quietly competent and courteous, and so is the owner. This has become my "to go" place in Trento for simple, traditional food with a personal twist.

The baccala' salt cod is always a must here in whatever form it comes. This time it was a starter, mantecato with polenta, and it was super as A primo of Canederlotti came with Treviso radicchio, its bitterness a perfect match for the cheese cream that provided its generous foil.

A main of tender rabbit was very good, except for some saltiness in the sauce, while a guinea fowl was a little dry. Desserts, a deconstructed strudel and a creamy cheesecake served in a glass, were good, though the eternal question of whether traditional desserts are improved by "modern takes" lingered When the restaurant is full, be prepared to wait.

Prices are amicable both for wine and for food. The wine list is exceptional. My recent visits have all been excellent and the latest one was no exception, from beetroot filled pasta parcels, to a rabbit cooked in an exemplary way wonderfully tender and moist to a delicate but tasty dish of lightly fried local freshwater fish.
